I'm running IE 7 beta 2 preveiw

Yeah I'll take one how much you want for it?
I've never had a legit copy of XP
and this IE 7 beta wants to use the M$ vaildation.

I haven't been able to get [We don't help folks break the law here ~ HomeLAN] to work

I opened the file in the Hex editor to the specified
address but didn't see the data described

So mebbe all the buggies I'm encountering are due to the fact that I never installed the app, just ran it from the WinRaR'ed files heh heh

ive been running 7 for a while now. 2 isnt much better than 1. still has problems when clicking back with html pages go to shit. Im just glad we dont buy operating systems. Only new comps. so it will be a great while if i have anything to do with it before we get it at work...

But when that time comes it will be all old hat to you.

Heh I clicked that link in my previous post and solved my
install issue and now IE 7 actually installed and is working fine so far (except for the issue Sam mentioned).

Thank you Lawd for putting Billy G on planet earth!

another little quirk is the default fonts. they are kinda fuzzy. but if you change them to ariel they look fine. :)

I used to live on the edges, but it's a rule now....
I won't even touch an xp comp unless it's lic.
I can't afford a 250,000 dollar fine, and if you don't get the authentication d/l,
it just doesn't run right.
Xp is the way to go now. They've got most of the bugs out, if you get all the updates.
I wouldn't even mess with lic copy before sp2+.

The work arounds for the vaildation issue allow me
to run without any problemos.

I'm lovin' this new browser So much!

But I'm certainly going to have to get one of these
to run it on heh heh

aah, the dual cores strike me like the dual processor systems.
I've just never seen a big need for it in home computing. Now a server....
The new 64 bit cpus OTOH..... :nerd:

That's OK buddie all new processors will be dual core soon.
I love this stuff.
------------------------
Intel’s power management for the D975KBX is FMB2.1. This new specifications are introduced for the 65nm Presler and Cider Mill cores. The new specifications calls for no less than 4-5 phase voltage regulation system to deliver a stable voltage to the new Presler cores which run at 1.3v with up to 130 watts needed for stability.

The betaGonz sorry you had trouble with the most
easy to use, stable OS on planet earth...

You talkin to me? YOU TALKING TO ME???

The OS has been a breeze (it's the corp version & it finally validated itself a couple months ago) I had IE 6 in beta & had problems. Once they were ironed out, it worked great. However, the're still patching the browser & the OS like it's a sinking ship.

I don't hate it...I just wish it had fewer vulnerabilities (as I run about 2 years on my current instal)

Well Gronzo you'll soon have the chance
to start all over with Vista by years end

Cool huh?
I can hardly wait.

I take back the 'buggie' comment at the beginning
of this thread it was me and my whacked setup (update)

I've got this browser purrin' like a kitten

Schooshie like a Catholic scrhool gurl in heat

Like a pants stealer inna Gap warehouse?

OK OK yous get the idea

yeah I'm nearly ready to break my own self imposed
hardware upgrade schedule over this

I really wanted to wait for the ultra-cool
conroe dual core desktop P-IV replacement
platform but perhaps I could sell off any purchases made
it is Too long to WAIT!!!

Sorry guys, the new 200 aren't exactly new. They're T-22 and t-23s. They came with 98 installed from the factory. But yeah, the last batch of a-30s we got we xp loads and we had to reclone them. Can't give out the licenses tho, since we're downgrunging them for the 98.

I expect I've got it under a novel install somewhere. Not the sort of thing that get's a lot of attention.
