Is this your ISP?

No, they would not, i just remembered you Gato solo were looking for a DDR board with an isa slot, but went with the iwill KK266 right?

No. Couldn't find one locally, and didn't want to wait, so I got a Biostar, and I'm still using DIMMS. :(

Shit, Gato, I had to quote your reply, just to read it. Smartass. Last time I try to be nice pointing out an error on your part. :p

actually there are 12 scsi drives there. with room for 2 more. and redundant power supplies. This has got to be from host rocket.

Y'know, you guys are overlooking the obvious advantages of an installation like that.

1) When's the last time you saw a case with 12 drive bays?
2) SCSI drives run hot. This lets them run cooler, with more space between them for airflow.
3) Ease of maintainance.
4) Space savings
5) Ease of cleaning

SIMMs don't run synchronous with the FSB. My dad's K6-2 400 system has SIMM sockets in it.
