Watching the local news and people are driving like we never see snow  If any of you can get a British Columbia News feed I'd say watch as it makes for some interesting viewing .

BTW If you see a vehicle that looks like this ,it ain't me :winkkiss:

You know...It's over 70F here today, it'll be over 70F tomorrow, and over 75F on Saturday. ;)

Nope. Noone else here seems shocked at the idea either.

this winter storm sure piffled. It snowed hard for a whole entire 2 hours, then that was it. Dunno what all the kafuffle was aboot.

9 feet of snow in California & 2 feet in 2 hours in Colorado. It had potential.

Schools are closing and its still snowing and we lost our power for about 3hrs ,we were expected to get 30cm overnight I'm not sure how much trhere is out there.I'm so not looking forward to the 30minute drive to work in about 2hrs.I saw the video of the idiots, trying to get up/down the hill in Vancouver ,on the CBC National last night .Our drivers reallly are quite amusing it seems.

Now the big ??? is do I phone in sick or partake in the Winter time Comedy ,that is a "Westcoast Commute"

Hey Inky ,if your getting snow down there it must be as comical as our roadways.

I'm not getting snow here, but the Sierra Nevadas between Fresno and Nevada are getting plenty.

Power outages have been sporadic ,so if you don't hear from me for a couple of days ,thats most likely the reason.I really need to invest in a UPS and/or a Laptop .There are the occasional sighting of Snow Beasts as well that may keep me from posting .

They are expecting another 30cm between noon friday and noon Saturday,so I'm definately expecting to be without power intermitently :crying4:
