Knoppix and Slax

I downloaded and burned them both. Haven't tried the Knoppix cd yet. Slax booted up and looked pretty on my screen, but I didn't do anything else yet.

Yet another way for me to mess around with and learn linux.

Also, where can I get Zandros? Someone told me it was a good distro, but I haven't found a website to download from yet, unless it's not free or something.

I use Knoppix pretty frequently to demonstrate Linux. I like it. Haven't tried Slax or Zandros (don't know where to get Zandros either )

Xandros is pay to play, if you want it, you gotta buy it, like RHEL has gone.

Yeah.... I just realized why I couldn't find Xandros before. No one told me it started with x. But now it seems so obvious, being linux and all.

Also, this friend of mine was regaling me about the greatness of Xandros all the while failing to mention that it's not free. Oh well.
