Oz you are not alone. My report card for year three said, "Anna has a unique swimming style! She swims like a stone." :(

I'm a member of the same club. I've had my swimming technique described as "drown prevention." :mope:

i swim...not as often as i like and not as good as i like but i swim good enough to pass a military physical readiness test...i swim much better than i run.

I guess I'm the opposite. I was lifeguard qualified by the age of 10 and can swim like a fish ... always could.

Not only do I swim like a fish, I actually wanted to be a fish when I was little...well, a dolphin actually. When I was 7, I whined loud enough to convince my parents to buy a house in a development that had its own pool, conveniently situated right across the street. I spent entire days over the summer in the water. Which would explain why my top half was always tanned and my legs were corpse white...

Come to think of it, they *still* don't tan...

You think a shark sits around, getting stoned with his mates & talking shit would decide "Hey, cool - let's go up, walk around on dry land a little while & see what the humans get up to"?

How do you think I wound up on land? :p

:worship: for tonks

You know, old-time sailor's tradition holds that sailors don't want to know how to swim, they would prefer not knowing how. If one were to fall overboard, the end would come sooner with less suffering.
