Last two weeks of XiBase

It could be worse. You could have Charter cable.

A little fire... maybe one or two acres, at least that's what I could see from the road (I got caught in the resultant traffic jam), fucked up the fiber optic lines, meaning every Charter subscriber in the area is SOL. I have no TV and no internet. I'm at the office at 11:33 p.m. so I can get online.

It could also be better. Shall I mention Verizons $20 billion venture? :D

What? Is there a problem?
running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 1.96Mb/s
running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 15.58Mb/s
The slowest link in the end-to-end path is a 10 Mbps Ethernet subnet
Information: Other network traffic is congesting the link

What part is limiting you to 10 megs? If it the NIC card? A router?

NIC cards are, what, $10?

Actually, I'm not limited to 10MB...that info is, and always has been, unusual. The problem I have is gaming...super fast link but I'm still off the servers mark.

Downloading, I can hit almost 20megs, frequently over 17, if I'm at a good source.

I'm running 1/9 of that on the d/l and 1/6 on the upload... shit... I'm starting to feel like a third world country. :mope:
