Liberal or Conservative

I'm liberal but I share some conservative ideas that might shock some people.

Why? Because after some 50 years of ascending power, liberalism has shown itself to be a failure.

I am in the same boat as Mark. I am mostly liberal but when it comes to certain ideas I tend to be conservative

I lean toward the con side, but have almost as many lib values. (centrist)
Why?
I see the logic in the con point of view on most things, but I "really" enjoy
my liberties, and want to protect as many as possible.
I grew up as a diehard southern Baptist, and had those values instilled in me to a certain extent.
I am Not a Baptist fanatic.
Extreme anything IMO is very bad.

I go along with quite a bit of the Conservative values, but I try to remain open-minded.
That is hard sometimes.
I'm thankful though to the more liberal crowd, because if there is no opposition,
or differing outlooks on the way to approach this, Nothing would be questioned, and
that "would" most likely lead to very negative outcomes.

I don't think that every human being on the face of the earth should be supported for every idiocy that they might want to do...but I don't think that anyone should be trod down upon or left to rot on the streets because it'll save a tax dollar.
