man I know how expensive it can get, to have someone else
do the work on it.
After spending thousands back in the 486 days, that's when
I decided to teaching myself how to do it. (then spent thousands on books and such)
Of coarse I not only wanted to know how to just replace the parts,
e.g. the mobo, but I wanted to know atleast some of how to refurb the
replaced parts.
I just love to get something given to me, and then I happen to get
it working again, like a HD, mobo, monitor, or cdwr....
do the work on it.
