I'd felt that the little extra bit of guilt and the 'how to be a good person in 10 easy steps' lessons...as well as the education/insight has served me well in life, and since they showed an interest and enjoyed themselves, I saw no harm in it...now I guess I'm just second guessing myself.

Les you dont need religion to be a good person. and your a great parent. youll have great kids love

yeah...I know chcr...I'm hoping that it's just a song...the other stuff I saw was what I expected from Sunday School...other than being a mite heavy on the take Jesus as your personal saviour thing...but I think that was just the theme of the day. I think I'm gonna go for the next few weeks and stake it out so to speak to reassure myself.

That's really big around here. "Have you accepted Jesus* as your personal lord and savior?" Woe unto you if you answer this one incorrectly, as you are about to get an earful. I find that "I'm a druid, Iwas baptized in the blood of a tree" usually makes thme leave me alone. :D

*pronounced GEE-zuss.

Exactly Unc. It hums just like an old miliitary tune.

Ahem...

If I die in the combat zone
Box me up and send me home
Pin my medals upon my chest
Tell my momma I did my best...

FUCK! You get that too!

It's here in Missouri too. I think the Baptist church is trying a little harder these days to get people to join. I say Baptist because that's where I see it the most, they certainly aren't like that at the Catholic church, nor at the Lutheran. Of course there you are just a member when you're baptised at birth, Baptists have to talk you into it later on.

It's just a cadence we use when quick-stepping...
If you don't like that one, here's another...

Ahem...

C-130 cruising down the strip
Air Force Porters on a one-way trip
Mission Top-secret, Destination unknown
Don't even know when we're coming back home...
