ahem...back to normal. Mardi Gras ... I've always wanted to go to New Orleans and really experience it, but the best that I get is a few plates of pancakes for Shrove Tuesday

mardi gras isn't an event...it's a holiday...so you don't have to go to new orleans to experience it...it's throughout louisiana and the rest of the southern states and is spreading quickly...in fact, having been in new orleans during the mardi ras season i can fairly say been there done that...just wish i had had the opportunity to experience mardi gras at mamou with the cajuns.
