So y=(-4/7)x+71
now for the Y intercept
0=(-4/7)x+71
0=-4x+71
71=4x
17.75=x
And X intercept
y=(-4/7)0+71
y=71
Orthogonal means that the standard inner product is 0 Or for not-too-math-oriented, the dot product is 0. Or for the geometric oriented, perpendicular.
