ACCORDING TO A SENIOR MILITARY OFFICIAL, THERE ARE 11 SOLDIERS MISSING AND THEY ARE BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN CAPTURED BY THE IRAQIS. THESE WERE MAINTENANCE SOLDIERS. THEY WERE OUT IN FRONT ON THEIR WAY TO REPAIR SOMETHING AND ACCORDING TO THE SENIOR MILITARY OFFICIAL, THEY TOOK A WRONG TURN. AGAIN, THEY BELIEVE THESE SOLDIERS WERE CAPTURED BY THE IRAQIS, 11 SOLDIERS.

ABC NEWS REPORTED, THERE HAVE BEEN SOME BATTLES RAGES AROUND AL NASIRIYAH.50 MARINES ACCORDING TO THIS SENIOR MILITARY OFFICIAL HAVE BEEN WOUNDED. THEIR VEHICLE APPARENTLY HIT BY SOME TYPE OF IRAQI ARTILLERY....

I saw one picture & decided I'll avoid seeing any more. The immediate emotional response is time for shock & awe in all it's glory. Many more of these violations of the Geneva Convention or should the Republican Guard keep it's resistance up, it'll go from emotional to logical.

There were some photos released of dead US Marines that were obviously shot in the forehead. I've not seen them but I heard the report on CNN.
