Need a new monitor :(

Seems the Viewsonic G90f has died ,text is so blurry it causes severe eye strain.Currently have an old HP Pavilion mx50 hooked up ,but doing 800x600 sucks.Need recommendations for a 17" LCD,Brand name and what to look for and lookout for.

I've had a Samsung 712N for... umm... I think I got it in December 2004. I've been very happy with it and it's been reliable and still has no dead pixels.
 
I have an HP vs17 that I bought las year and am happy with it, don't remember what I paid for it but I like the definition of the flat screen..
 
I bought a Samsung 931BF,close to same specs ,but has DVI.They had 12+ monitors(different makes/models),but none of the 920n's were turned on and there was even one in the bargain bin,I just wasn't getting a warm fuzzy feeling about it.They also only had the 920N in silver bezel(I prefer black) and the location and look of the controls weren't impressing me either.The 931BF seems great and was only $70 more for DVI and a Classier design IMO.
