There will be no more fishing for arguments.
I should like to add that the words neo-con, neo-anything, liberal, conservative, commie, lefty and righty will no longer be utilized as broad insults/tools to be inflammatory.

Yeah...and with an election coming up soon, it ain't getting any easier to follow platforms or parties.Professur said:As did. They changed their name when they merged with the Alliance (formerly the Reform party), to the New Conservative party.
The problem is that they aren't playing traditional roles at all. The Conservative party ain't as conservative as they used to be, the Liberals aren't liberal, and the New Democrats ignore the people regarding several issues. Hence the confusion come vote day.Gonz said:That is a silly name for conservatives....progressive conservatives. It's equally silly for liberals to call themselves progressive. We don't need new names for traditional roles. We need people to stop denying what they are.
What would you call a "Liberal" with some conservative ideals?Winky said:A Neo-Con is some new to the Conservative side.
A former Liberal! Remember even Reagan was a Democrat.
By the definitions I've found that I agree with I am not a Neo-con.
The same thing you'd call a conservative with some liberal ideas. A moderate.MrBishop said:What would you call a "Liberal" with some conservative ideals?
A DemiLib? A DemiCon? A LibCon? A fence-sitter?
