we got a new baby Parrot, Its a Congo African Grey.. his name is "Eggbert" ***** don't laugh!
he is 1 week old and won't be comming home for another 3 months when he is weaned.. here is a pic of him..and one to show you what he will look like when full grown..

9 parrots... we found homes for 2 of the small ones, and just got 2 more.. the African Grey, and this guy.. a baby Blue & Gold Macaw.."Stich" came home last month. still has his baby feathers..

The Count is:
2 African Grey's
3 Cockatoo's
1 Blue & Gold Macaw
1 Gray Cockateil
2 Green Cheek Conures

The Macaw would more than likely leave your cat on the porch ,they have nasty beaks if they choose to use them.We have a parrotlet (about 3inches tall ) that draws blood ,the macaws beak is bigger than 3inches .

You know, I was just thinking of that the other day. Keeping that bird I found would not have been a good idea, in retrospect. I'll consider it another time under the right circumstances though.

Kruz, where is the bird now?
 
he is still in the incubator at our breeders, we will be visiting him every day till he comes home, (breeder is only 1 block away)
