Nudism???

Well, my dear. Have you recently tried to have photos of your kids in the bath processed at the local drug store? A friend had to deal with police to get his done. Imagine the difficulties with photos of dozens of kids prancing around.

BCD, in answer to your earlier question, I would have to say that , IRL, just about everyone whom I've seen naked and those who have seen me naked, were known to me. Obviously there are medical exams and such during which strangers have seen me naked. But I don't experience too many strangers strolling around naked and they don't experience me doing that either.

BCD, since most kiddy porn distribution is done over the internet, digital photos are a pedophile's best friend. Even better than the camcorder.

Well if one is going to take such pictures (such as your friend, which were intended in all goodness, not evil) then it is better to take them digitally, print them and delete.

Personally I find it totally ridiculous that one or possibly two photos of your child playing in the bath amongst what is obviously a normal set of family photos can ellicit such an overzealous reaction.

If it were amongst a whole bunch of photos of different kids, then I would be seriously concerned, but most serious paedophiles develop their own, one way or another. I agree that kids need protecting but sometimes the authorities just go too far! Persecuting innocent parents is not the way to go.

Boring. Now, do you think that a nudist's home movies and summer vacation photos should be considered kiddy porn?

From a nudist POV? No - we do not consider them kiddy (or any other form of) porn. They are just normal holiday pics.

With our group (it's a very small group of us - about 30 or so - that all own shares in a private game reserve which we use as a naturist resort.) there are only 2 children that come to the reserve with their parents - a 13 year old boy and his 11 year old sister. When they were smaller they used to run around starkers all the time, however they are both at a stage in their lives where they are starting to notice the difference between girls & boys (physically) and where they are rather uncomfortable with their own bodies - i.e PUBERTY (cursed time of our lives that, yet also of the most exciting). Because of this they'll usually wear cozzies now.

The photographs we take of our holidays are the same as you might take of yours - people swimming, hiking through the valley, having picnics, lounging about etc - with the only difference being that we do not wear clothes. Nudity itself is not a sexual thing - sexuality is largely controlled by the brain, influenced by the surroundings, particular setting of the encounter or the way in which it is portrayed. We do not take our photos in lewd, provocative poses, nor do we let the children pose as such. But because we do realise there are perverted individuals out there who cannot separate their brains from their loins we tend not to take pics of the children if we can help it, unless it is from the back or while they are dressed. If there are pics of the children nude we do not have them developped over the counter at all & it is up to their parent if they actually want them developpped or not.

As for our pics - we have them developped as per normal & I have had to endure more than one smirk / knowing glance from a zitty teenager at the shop when I've collected my holiday pics. I sometimes take the piss with them by going through the pics right there & then taking one or two out, leaving them on the counter & then tearing them up in front of the guy with a request that he please throw them out because I don't want those.

My point exactly, my dear. When I was younger, the sears catalogue had child models wearing underwear. Now, they barely even show adult women in bras. Children have to wear parkas to appear. We've made such an issue about something, that it's become taboo. That only feeds those who want/need to be deviant. In britain, going topless on a beach (again, when I was younger) was hardly even noticed. Anyone pre-puberty was usually just shucked of clothes and tossed in. Hell, there's a topless pic on page three of almost every decent(?) newspaper. Breasts appeared often in soap and shampoo ads on the telly.

But sex has become so common, so prevelant, that it's all anyone ever thinks of these days. I got dirty looks taking my daughter into the men's toilet to change her diaper, for God's sake. We all need to let it go, and get back to what really matters.
