Obama furthers moral toptiude, hastens Armageddon!

The anglican church of canada is 'dealing' with the issue right now, and it ain't pretty. Accepting gays is expected to cause a schism that will drive at least 25% of canuck anglicans back to the Catholic church. I was speaking the a Catholic priest last year and he was telling me that over 100 anglican ministers had petitioned the Pope for conversion that year. The numbers are his, and heresay without documentation ... but I believe him.

If this is going to get religious, I think it's silly that the Catholic Church does not allow women to become preists or bishops, just nuns. The Episcopal church allows women to hold any position within the church, and fire and brimstone haven't rained down on us yet.

Wouldn't you have more faith in a church that follows it traditions & dogma without testing the political waters first? Orthodox Judaism & Catholocism fit that mold. You know where they stand, whether you agree or not.

I don't think gender equality is a hot political issue. Why don't women wear watches? Because there's a clock on the stove! Great attitude to have... 100 years ago.

LMAO!!! All religions are first and foremost political entities. Always have been, always will be. Until they disappear for lack of adherents.
