Tis a sad commentary when it has to be considered "loading the court" when all we want is people who can read what IS written, not what they wish was written.
 
I liked some of her stances particularly her idea of less rights for criminals. Hope the best for her and hope the one who takes her postion will be good

NOW president Kim Gandy told about 800 NOW members Friday that women need to send a message that they won't tolerate "extremist" judges who set back women's rights.

BTW, Fascism is not the opposite of Communism, Winky. For one brief moment in history they were enemies. Guess no one remembers the alliance that led up to that, huh?

The closest I am thinking about that is WWII but I feel I am way off for some reason. The reason I say that is because of Russia was with the allies but I am not sure if thats the point in history you are getting at.

Freak, Stalin was originally allied with Hitler until Hitler had the bad judgement to turn on him. I suspect that if Hitler never had we'd be living in a very different world today. Frankly, I've always suspected that if he'd just had the good sense not to attack Russia in winter, we'd all be paying at least lip service to a united, Nazi Europe or worse. He certainly made other mistakes, but this one was his undoing, IMO.
