So I bought a copy of TaxCut Deluxe+State for $20 at Wal-Mart. I haven't installed it yet.

Anyways, I got a copy mailed to me; it came in today. At first I was thinking it's a good thing I hadn't opened the box for the one I got at Wal-Mart; that means it's still returnable.

So I opened the CD I got mailed and found out the catch. Inside the packaging, it says you stick the CD in the drive and then pay $30 to install the software. This is for the exact same package I paid $20 for at Wal-Mart.

Sneaky bastards.

Nothing better than the free state version (after MiR).

New rule...if you have to open your wallet to get it, it ain't free.

On Monday we (the family) went down to Platsburg, NY to do a little shopping. I saw something at K-mart ... It still boggles the mind. Ballsyist bastard I've ever seen. 2nd of January , and this bastard was returning ....... a christmas tree.

Did K-Mart check the expiration date of the tree?
