I wouldn't think so, as long as you control them all. Tricking people into clicking the link, setting it as your home page or adding it as a favorite, etc.

would they care it came from another domain? (ie, I set up a site that has both links on there so I don't have to search for them)
 
Probably. I have the return link field set to www.otcentral.com and www.xibase.com respectively. It's not that hard to find them though. Just look at the top of every page here, and for Xi, it's close to the top of the front forum page. So as long as you visit the sites you'll have the links handy. :beerbang:
 
the OTC one is easy...but Xi requires more work. I've been just going through to this thread to find the link
 
Wow, not too bad. I wish I could figure out how to hide those [clear.gif]'s though. It's hard to space things out with just CSS code and have it work for every browser the same way.
