Hello all!
i JUST HAD A CO-WORKER SEEK ME OUT FOR A PROBLEM WITH HIS OUTLOOK.

(OOPS)...SORRY BOUT THE ALLCAPS.

hE'S GETTING A MESSAGE WHENEVER HE TRIES TO LOOK AT AN EMAIL WITH AN ATTACHMENT (NO MATTER WHAT TYPE).

It's telling him that he can't look at attachemnts because of 'potentially harmful attachments" etc...

anyone know the way out of this...I'm not the I.T. Guy around here, but I'm the one that they always go to.

Any help appreciated.

There should be settings in the prefs (attributes) for "Content" which allow you to adjust acceptable content for age groups. AOL will censor attachments from what I hear so if he is using AOL there may be no cure... So...Wheres Prof? :D

It's a good one for .exe files, but in this case, it blocks all files, .wpd, .doc, .txt etc.. any and all attachemnts from pics to mp3's etc...

With the Addon, you should be able to add any kind of attachment as safe.

Prof's N/A - Ring-no-answer at his house and at his Mum's place (where he's occasionally found).
