Palin: I'd come out ahead in run against 0bama

I bet she scared off a lot of conservatives too. For the most part the ones she did attract would probably have voted McCain over Obama anyway. Overall looks like mostly she did a lot of damage.

and attracted a lot of conservatives

"Conservatives" for Palin??? Conservative in name only.
Alaska is arguably the most Socialist state.
Comes from being so close to Russia, maybe. (wink, nudge, grin)

"They can’t quite believe that for two frantic months last fall, caught in a Bermuda Triangle of a campaign, they worked their tails off to try to elect as vice president of the United States someone who, by mid-October, they believed for certain was nowhere near ready for the job, and might never be. They quietly ponder the nightmare they lived through."

Yet we have Joe Biden there. Look who's laughing now

oopsie that's just the daughter having a drinkie! wonder if she's quite pregnant at that point???

nah but this drama that won't go away sure is funny. when a good chunk of america is dumb enough to worship cartoons, how can you not laugh at 'em?

what?

oh, you mean obama?

right. just because i'm able to take a rational view of him, i'm his lifelong defender. even though i've mentioned more than once that i disagree with him in MANY respects.

oh, wait, this is because i make fun of irrational cheerleading types who spout endless nonsense about obama and anything else that doesn't fit so good into their peabrained social visions of 'merica.

right.

She stands up & resigns so that Alaska can have a full time Governor while she's away.

She's so gonna kick Obamas ass.

if she quit because, and only because of what she said, That is honorable, and admirable, and I was wrong for saying I didn't think she was genuine.

On the other hand, if she runs for pres., I'm back to square one.

I do think she'd make a great sec. of commerce though.

She hasn't really said why she quit. She indicated that she had other plans (a run in 2012?)& it was unfair ro the AK taxpayer to not have their Gov on the job full time.

I'm of the opinion that all politcians who are looking to change jobs need to resign their current post before embarking on a "promotion".

Or (more likely) she's just another prima donna attention whore and the completely invented furor over the stuff Letterman never said had died down.
