I hope he's better prepared for his first year than I was then...it is one HELL of a shocker to your system. In second and third year I have done amazingly well and managed to bring up my total GPA to a 3.5 despite my HORRENDOUS performance in first year...a lot of the time unfortunately it isn't the work but the shock of all the changes at once. I wish someone had forwarned me about it...I lost 2 grand due to my shitty performance first year
