Pound cake

Well actually a 3/4lb cake :D

I got a deal on eggs last month at $1/dzn, so I
decided to make a pound cake or 2.
I've made so many now I've got the recipe memorized.

It's pretty decent to me, and fairly easy....

6 - large eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 - tsp lemon extract
1 - tsp vanilla extract
1 cup sugar
1 cup self rising flour
2 cups plain flour
1 cup crisco (melted)

mix in that order until creamy
Bake in a tube pan ~1 hour

lol, my first attempt at a pound cake, and I was going to try an old
family recipe my late great aunt had.
It called for a dozen eggs, and a pound of flour (~4 cups)...

I used self-rising flour instead of plain.
That sucker went ape-crap.
Took me a while to clean the oven.
