Ugh...

He looks like he still had a few in him. That's great, fucking smile while you shame your country.

What would posess a guy with a chauffeur to drive while drunk. That just doesn't make any sense.

lol, i find that smile pretty funny actually :D but then again, DUI isn't...
at least he could see some positive things in his arrest :D

always look on the bright side of life....

The smile was probably wasn't caused by the alcohol ,but him remembering all the FINE Hawaiian Ladies he saw at the beach earlier. :brow:

[pondering] Yep,definately looks like them Hawaiian chicks have worked their magic[/pondering]

As far as it being a big deal back here in B.C.,I personally give a rats ass . He was on Holidays for Christs sake.

yeah, can't see the big deal either...ok, DUI isn't smart, but he's human as well. and humans make mistakes :)

And I don't fee he was a representitive of the government at that point, hell everyone needs to blow off some steam.

Um, ok. Let me show you the big deal.

1) He's the head member of the body which makes the laws.
2) He was on a tax-payer sponsored trip.
3) This human is responsable for deciding how public tax dollars are spent.

People with that much responsability and power don't have the right to make stupid mistakes. Misinformed mistakes, OK. But he admitted that he knew better and did it anyways.

Let me ask you all, did you rip Clinton to shit when he got a hummer in the Oval Office? I'm betting most of you did.

I don't see a whole lot of difference here, we should hold our leaders to a higher standard.

A few years back the Primeminister (Jean Chretien) punched a guy in the mouth for heckling him.He assaulted the guy and is still Primeminister. When a drunk Ralph Klein ,stumbled into a homeless shelter and started yelling at peolple asking them why they were homeless ,did he resign ,NOPE .
I was not one of those that was saying Clinton should resign ,it wasn't what he did it was because ,under oath,he said he didn't do it .

My premier walked in there and told them all to "go get a job!" :D

Since there is nothing illegal about simply being drunk, or saying silly things, I see no need for Klein to resign over it, even though he made an ass of himself. :D

As for Campbell, I don't see that he should resign. One mistake is forgivable, but if he breaks the law again he's outa there.
