It's amazing how somebody that has the intelegence to breeth can come up with something like this...

In what was likely her final legislative act in Congress, outgoing Georgia Rep. Cynthia McKinney introduced a bill Friday to impeach President Bush.

The legislation has no chance of passing and serves as a symbolic parting shot not only at Bush but also at Democratic leaders. Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has made clear that she will not entertain proposals to sanction Bush and has warned the liberal wing of her party against making political hay of impeachment.

And this comes as a surprise to whom exactly?

Sour grapes from the previous regime. I'm surprised it took as long as it did after the election of the cronies to a majority.

You asked for this, America. Just remember that when the billions are spent on this nonsense...when legitimate issues are tabled to chase this witch hunt...you asked for it.

They should introduce a bill to impeach her wardrobe. Shes always looked like shes come from a paint factory explosion.

yeah like all that time they wasted on "defense of marriage" and other bullshit social agendas when they shoulda been figurin' on iraq and balancing a budget...

Got her in the papers, didn't it?
Punching out the cops on Capitol Hill did that just fine.

Her name always did find a way to crop up once or twice a year... and never for anything sane... but thats the kind of district she represents.

Yes but apparently not long enough. Plus I am sure that she wants to redeem her name this way

It's going to be real hard for them to top the republican witch hunt spending during Clinton's years.

Right, his lies are about way more important things.

You forget that Clinton was in front of Republicans (after all he was a democrat president but the House and Senate were repubs) while Bush was in front of repubs until now. So it is also there that Bush wasn't likely to be impeached though his lies cost thousands of lives and more money as well

For actions in which he was guilty enough to lose his law license over (perjury is a crime). GW is only doing what the Congress authorized him to do.

It would take a long time to come up with a complete list of Bush lies.

and if he lied to get Congressional approval which is a pretty good possibility I would think that was a problem.

Anyway it's pretty obvious that whatever topics Waxman looks into are going to be of a lot more serious nature than Clinton's.

No politician has ever lied. No politician has ever told the truth. It is because politicians are the masters of wordsmithing everything they say into meaning nothing at all. Its all shades of 'hopeful', 'steadfastness', 'support', and smile a good deal. No politico has said anything of note since the advent of color tv.

Therefore, I shall resign the Presidency effective at noon tomorrow.

Substantial & putting the good of the country before the good of the man. It can happen.
