Mitt Romney lashed back at Harry Reid on Thursday in an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity, saying the Senate majority leader needs to "put up or shut up" after airing allegations about Romney's taxes.
Reid, a Nevada Democrat, first raised eyebrows Tuesday by saying in a news interview that someone had told him Romney went 10 years without paying taxes. He would only identify his source as an investor in Romney's former venture capital firm, Bain Capital, and he acknowledged, "I'm not certain" it's true.
That didn't stop Reid from taking to the Senate floor Thursday to accuse the Republican presidential candidate again of paying no taxes, part of a broader Democratic attack on Romney for declining to release more than two years of tax documents.

hmm, does this look to anyone else like Romney might have a good defamation law suit case?
If I had Romney's money, I've already have lawyers working on it.

hah. didn't realize harry was a mormon too. might be a space pants grudge match. though i assume most mormons think reid is a commie turncoat... regardless, it will make for some amusement. blown out of proportion, it could swing the middle away from romney. let's hope that doesn't happen.

by the way, where is jesse ventura these days? has he fled to mexico yet?

It doesn't take Reid being a Mormon too, to turn some people away.
It simply takes Romney being one.
I'm southern Baptist, but I personally don't care that Romney is Mormon.
I'm sure that's why he lost this state to Huckabee though.
I voted for Romney in the '08 primary, but went with Barr after McCain got the nom.
IMO that shows in part what kind of competition Obama had then.
It's not going to matter this time around though. People won't be voting
for Romney. They'll be voting against Obama.

yeah, last I heard that's where Ventura was.

oh that's a real nice one gonz.

of course more "liberals" won't vote for a mormon. because "mormon" (generally, i guess not harry reid) to them means "very right wing" and "holding objectionable social views." it's not the special underwear or other kooky religious pratices, it's the political ideology that comes along on the horsey ride.

it's the evangelicals who won't vote for him because they don't think he's christian.

besides, mitt smiles a lot, so why should we hold his mammonism against him?
