BUBBLY little Jade Slack had not a care in the world as she sang and danced at a school talent contest on Friday.
But two days later the bright and popular kiddie was dead — Britain’s youngest ever ecstasy victim at just TEN.
Story and picture of young JadePolice believe Jade took a fatal dose of a type of ecstasy called Ferraris at a house in Galgate, near Lancaster.
They have arrested two women and a man aged from 18 to 20 in connection with her death. And detectives want to know if Jade took the tablets by mistake — or was deliberately given them.
A shocked medical expert said taking five tablets was “a massive overdose”.
He added: “They would have caused very high body temperature and attacked her organs one by one.”
Jade was rushed unconscious to Royal Lancaster Infirmary but died despite the frantic efforts of medics.
