Man in 'Tigger' Costume Charged With Molesting Girl, Mom at Disney World

ORLANDO, Fla. — A Walt Disney World employee who worked as the character "Tigger" was charged Friday with molesting a 13-year-old girl and her mother while posing with them for pictures.

Michael Chartrand, 36, was arrested and charged with one count of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child between 12 and 15 and one count of simple battery. He was booked at the Orange County Jail on a $2,500 bond.

A Disney spokeswoman said Chartrand has been suspended without pay.

The sheriff's office received a complaint that a costumed character at Disney World had touched a girl and her mother.

"As the photo was being taken, (the victim) claims that Tigger moved his right hand up to her right breast and started massaging it several times," the report said. "(The victim) became very embarrassed and ashamed of the incident and claims that she did not say anything to her mother until they left the park."

The girl later learned that the costumed character had done the same thing to her mother with his left hand, according to the report. The girl and her father reported the incident Feb. 29.

All I can say is ... :disgust2:

The girl and her father reported the incident Feb. 29.
So the mother didn't mind getting groped{I guess as long as Tigger wasn't singing "its a small World"}
I know I'm horrible ,but I read that story a few days ago and it just puzzled me as to why the mother didn't say anything.

maybe the mother didn't complain because that's her right not to have to go to the courthouse everytime some overexuberant schmuck grabs her boob  as for the underage girl...well, bouncing is what tiggers do best and i hope they bouncy his ass straight to the big house.

didn't they wait like 8 days before reporting it? and both the mom and daughter supposedly had this happen?

Not to be cynical ... but it all sounds fishy to me. If something like that happens, report it. Don't wait more than a week. Why didn't the mom say anything immediately?

Maybe mom enjoyed it......maybe mom was looking for a good trial lawyer so she could sue the Disney corporation......maybe they thought nobody would believe them if they came out with their story...

Maybe Tigger better invest in some cartons of ciggy's before he goes to jail, lest the prisoners find out exactly how much fun, fun, fun, fun, fun Tigger actually is. :D

mom just lets Tigger feel her up without smacking him away...OR checking to see if he's also feeling up her daughter...

and Tigger is gleefully groping BOTH of them whilst having his picture taken doing it?!

:alienhuh:

I agree. Wouldn't it be obvious in the photos that Tigger was touching their boobs? :/

This just in. It seems that our good friend Inkara may be involved. Here's a photo of him and Tigger having a great time.

I hope it was worth the pain you caused, Inkara. I really do. :lol2:

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Walt Disney World worker who portrayed the character Tigger was found not guilty Wednesday of touching the breast of a 13-year-old girl while posing for a photo at the Magic Kingdom.

Jurors found 36-year-old Michael Chartrand not guilty of misdemeanor battery and lewd and lascivious molestation, a felony, after deliberating for less than one hour. He had faced 15 years in prison if convicted.
