say what?!

let's put that judge in the blender, and press "on"

then ask his wife whether she thinks he was killed "instantly" and "humanely".

And how is this different than a sport fisherman catching a bass and mounting it on his wall? Do you actually think we should start fining all fishermen and hunters now?

C'mon guys...

Interesting point, and if you really think about it, being plucked out of the water by a hook that has gone through your lip and then suffocating in a boat is surely a more horrific way to die. however it is also much more acceptable.

Shit, with all the live crawfish I've placed in saltwater to make them shit/puke out all the toxic bile, I suppose I owe a fortune in fines for animal cruelty.

How about those boiled lobsters?

I've seen kids tie strings around bumble bees and fly them around like pets on a leash. Damn their cruel souls.

Somehow I think the mindset of the fisherman is a little different than those who would like to watch live goldfish pureed....But thats just me....:retard:

I don't care too much what you do to the fish. I don't like them....but fish in a blender isn't art, I don't care who's beholding it. It's just stupid.

apparently the artist was trying to get the viewer to explore their consciences. looks like he underestimated a few of them :retard:

I don't think I'd go so far as to call him an artist. I think I'd just call him a bonehead with a blender and fish. :tardbang:

A.B.Normal said:
Well hes making you all debate about it.
For me, art should elicit an emotional response. I'm emotionally indifferent, I just think it's stupid. Not art by my personal definition.

I'd have to agree with A.B. here. The artist elicited emotional responses in a whole lotta people, and at the least provoked a lively debate here.

And I don't buy that bit about the mindset of a hunter being different. You know you are causing the death of an animal in all cases... how is that different? Ever held a magnifying glass over an ant to see what would happen? Ever step in their antbed just to piss them off? Should people who have be fined?

I'll tell you what's backwards Jon - someone equating the life of the goldfish with the life of the Judge (no offense Shadowfax). You know, those billions of years of evolution weren't just for shits and giggles.

I don't know oli...Seems that those who would kill for no other purpose than the kill have a different mindset than those who would kill for a purpose, albeit a trophy....I don't hunt. I fish no-kill. And I don't appreciate hunting/fishing trophies. But I understand the idea. I don't understand killing such as what was described. Not emotional about it ....just don't understand what would make someone enjoy that. :retard:
