Today at my school, a 15 year old girl was stabbed on the shoulder with a knife by a 13 year old guy, I haven't found out who got stabbed though. This unfortunate event happened during 3rd lunch, after my 2nd lunch.
I found out about this during math, one of my classmates told me about it. Mr. Cass explained to us that the person who stabbed her got arrested and will probably get an expulsion.

Dear Parents and Families of Wilson Students:

I am writing to inform you of a serious incident that occurred at Wilson Middle School today involving three of our students.

During third period lunch in the cafeteria, a 15 year old girl was stabbed in the shoulder by a 13 year old boy. Immediately, our teachers and staff took action to care for the injured student, contact paramedics and ensure the safety of nearby students. Our school Resource Officer, a Saint Paul Police Officer, quickly apprehended the boy, recovered the weapon and placed another boy under arrest.

The boys were taken into police custody and, pending the outcome of an investigation, will likely face criminal charges and expulsion from the school. The girl was transported to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover from her injuries.

Our immediate concern is for the safety and well-being of our injured student and the rest of the student body. Because of this terrible incident occurred during a busy lunch period, many students will be affected. Starting tomorrow, we will make counselors available for all students.

I want to assure you that this type of violence is not tolerated at this school. We are currently working to determine how the weapon was brought into the school and what caused the incident. Once we have all the facts, any necessary additions to our safety efforts will be made.

Sincerely,
Joann Knuth

I think that this is sad that someone would do this to another student. :(

What? No armed guards monitoring the metal detectors & making you guys use see-thru bookbags. Hopefully they catch the kid & lock his ass up for being a moron.

Plese, oh plese, tell me "probably" was his lack of ability to cohesively communicate & not an official school standard.

Caught him, good.

fuck the probably. expel him. Lace you be careful out there we dont want you hurt(nor any of the other students).sick bastard the boy is i hope the girl will be ok. glad they caught him now put his ass in prison he deserves that.

I'll be careful, don't worry. I was thinking on my way home, "DAMN! That could have been me that was stabbed, alot of people from my school hate me, and would of wanted revenge on me."

Expulsion shouldn't be an issue since he should be doing 5-7 for assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery.

In my old school, the teachers would have had a hard time getting to the boy. The other students would have ripped him to bits. But that was a different world, wasn't it.

depends on the school my hs wasnt so violent so i dont think it would have been the students to get him it would have been school security or a teacher.

5-7 won't happen most likely, especially since the kid was under 18...

In 7th grade I was caught in a raid on the school. KBI (state FBI) seized an AK-47, two .22 rifles, and a 9mm handgun from the locker next to mine.

They just let out a guy from jail who shot the principal, a few teachers, and another student (killed four) at the school I used to go to (happened in 85' before I got there). He was 14 at the time. There were no metal detectors, nor are there any now.

Not to make excuses, but I can't help but say "and we wonder what's with today's youth." :(

I don't wonder about the youths as much as the parents. I like to think I would know if my children were better armed than myself.

And how the fuck do you get an AK-47 and 2 .22 rifles into a school? That don't take metal detectors, just an open eye.
