I just overheard two teachers having a debate in my office:

Teach1: Let's combine our classes.
Teach2: Okay.
Teach1: It'll be 110 minutes long = 1hr 10 minutes.
Teach2: Umm ... no it won't, that equals 1hr 50 minutes.
Teach1: No, 100 min = 1hour.

True story.
Thank god Teach1 is not teaching math
