One of the best programs I've ever heard of. What kind of kids do you think these single parents will raise Gonz? You're all about the morals, well, I'd be willing to be these kids will be raised with some morals now, and possibly by parents with self-supporting jobs. Of course if you'd rather just have them on welfare....

Hey everybody, quit your job, have some kids out of wedlock, you too could be rewarded. Wait, make that "Hey Wimins"...guys...don't bother doing the right thing...the state will take care of her & your sperm. You though arte still fucked.
 
Another thing Leslie...I can't believe this escaped me earlier...you are not a "single mom". You are a divorced mom. Very different animals.
 
I dont see anything immoral about premarital sex. Though I thnk your parents should have discussed the consequences of it

divorced...which leaves me the sole custodian in a single parent household. The antithesis of what I wanted, but nevertheless, here I am.

That's exactly what this is, and you're ragging on it. Yes, state subsidies are mentioned in the article as examples of OTHER PROGRAMS! Not this one. A privately funded program like this is exactly how it's supposed to work - those who need help get it without a burden being placed on an unwilling taxpayer. Because you don't agree with their choices (and I don't either, by the by), no one should be allowed to help them under any circumstances outside of family?

Grow up.
 
Gonz. I'm not arguin that it's a bad idea. However, that doesn't make it immoral, just stupid.

if you plan it then you can have a kid. otherwise personal gratification. But that has nothing to do with morality. Morality would dictate not to do it because it violates your values.
