I give da kid reasonable privacy. I don't root through her room. Should I have reason to suspect a problem, I will investigate. Anything I happen across not related to my investigating will be discreetly replaced where I found it.
I do not snoop on me spouse. Her email is her own, her purse is off limits to me by my decision unless she wants me to fetch something from it. If something is going on, I'll likely figure it out without having to snoop.
