i love fans, do not ask me why i just do. Since each one may look the same but they are all different, in a little way :) . also ilove to tweak them to , you know where when you first put to gather a fan, those front airvent holes :swing: , i take a knife and i cute inbetween each line of the next air hole, to make the it run cooler. Also i take off the back of the fan, and i unscrew the the "oscille" knob. i am careful, to the 2 little balls don;t go springing :D , then i deoil the fan in back with my fingers or a pipecleaner, and the fan goes faster, sicne there is less lag on the motor :swing:

I used to collect them when I was a nurse. Had quite a big collection of different sorts displayed on my wall. But I gave them away eventually, just too much trouble to dust in the end.

Now I just collect the human type in the games I play. LOL ;D

Don't worry, I knew exactly what you were talking about. You obviously missed what I was talking about.
 
I trashpicked a fan today. It wasn't burnt out smelling but yet wasn't able to spin the blades. I was disappointed yet determined to make it work.

So I took off the back and took it all apart and started wiping it down then paul_valaru came and took over cause there were tools so I did nothing else, but end result, it works now!!
