Speaker problem!

Don't know if anyone can figure this one out.

My computer crashed a couple of months ago and I had to start from scratch. That's not a big deal! Ever since I got it back though, my speakers seem to be acting weird. They work fine in a sense, except that there's an echo. I've played around with settings and all, but the echo is still there. Anyone know what I can do to fix the problem. Before the computer crashed, I never had that problem.

Try updating the drivers for your soundcard. If you started from scratch, your drivers are probably way out of date.

If that doesn't fix it, try laying off the acid...

make sure that the plug is a) plugged into the right hole and b) the plug is all the way in.

I re-installed the software when i get the comp back because the guys fixing it forgot to. I know it's plugged in all the way and in the proper slot, I checked that a few times. I'll check for drivers though.

As to the acid, it's fun, why stop!
