Steve Fossett may be alive, investigator claims

Never heard of the guy, but this comment from the article struck me as amusing:
We found six other planes while we were looking for him. We're pretty good at what we do.

Yeah, you're so good, that while you're out looking for one plane, you find six others that you weren't even looking for? Maybe they should start looking for somebody else, then they'll find this guy by accident.

Sorry, I only knew what was in the article you linked to, which doesn't say whether those six were reported lost or not. I guess I assumed that out of six missing airplanes, at least one of them might have been reported missing by somebody, but I have been known to be wrong in the past. On occasion. From time to time.
