If that doesn't work, go to
C:\Documents and Settings\"your windows user"\Program Data\"Firefox or Mozilla"\Profiles\
That directory should have both profiles files, back them up, and then delete the profiles dir. Run firefox, create a new profile, and overwrite it with the files of the profile you want.
