I agree but I think a lot of conservative republicans give him too much credit too.
 
All I have ever said about him is that he says stupid things. I have also said he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, meaning (to me anyway) that there are people more intelligent than him in his camp.

indeed, that's why i was surprised to see him handle this one...perhaps he finally followed the script they wrote for him this time? :D
