Tax Burden Continues to Shift from the Wealthy to the Working Class

The shining light on the hill (or whatever it is) certainly isn't Russia. More people try to emigrate to the US than any other country.

If you think this one overspends you ought to see his competition. Which yo can do by observing 20 years worth of Senate votes.
 
I dunno, and dun care, who overspends what down there. I just found it curious...the size of your deficit as compared to the high tax rate and lack of services for the people. odd.
 
Lack of services is incorrect. A scare tactic by the left who wish to raise the burden on the working class by giving more of ours to more of the lazy & disenfanchised.*

It's pretty expensive to provide most of the troops for UN and NATO initiatives. Iraq and Afghanistan are not the only places our troops are at, after all.

I'm not on the attack here...I now find it curious that you all don't find it curious, that you're all ok with this.
 
We're not all ok with this. There certainly is waste in our government. Whether we elect a Dem or a Rep will really make no difference at this point however. They both have thier favorite little money pits and they both are pretty good at protecting them.

Ummm...Read the pre-amble to our constitution...Also take a look at what our tax money is supposed to be spent on. Our tax money is mis-spent because we don't take our elected leaders to task for their lunacy. Look up the term 'pork-barrel', and notice how nicely it describes our legislative branch. ;)
