Ten reasons to not kill President Bush

Read them here. Interesting stuff. It seems to be rare to see a Democrat who understands that disagreement with Bush's policies doesn't require vile hatred towards the person.

10) Slaying President Bush is simply immoral. Anyone who advocates purposefully killing someone defenseless (and a democratically elected leader, no less) is clearly value-challenged. I don't understand the logical contortions some people must go through to be anti-death penalty yet pro-assassination.

Yet advocating war based on bogus reasons whereupon 10's of thousands die is ok.

Personally I don't believe Bush makes many of the decisions given that Cheney and Rumsfeld are in the background.

Stalin always said: One murder is a tragedy. A million murders is a statistic.

I believe that you, along with so many of his detractors & more than a few friends, greatly underestimate him.

I never misunderestimate anyone :D Seriously though Rumsfeld and Cheney have been planning domination for years. It's all written down in their plan for a new American century, they just needed a popular president

Ain't nuthin' wrong with America dominating the world.
Since the collapse of the Soviet Empire we've had little competition.

The moosies ain't got a chance against us, heh.

C'mon Loppie if Rumsfeld and Cheney have been planning for years ya
gotta admire them for sticking to long term worthwhile goals doncha?

You've goals you hope to achieve in your life?
Not as lofty as taking over the world but still I'm sure they are meaningful to you? :sick2:

Cheney would be an amazing President. So, he'll never get elected.

5) Killing President Bush could spur another spate of international invasions, with or without U.N. approval. The U.S. military cannot deal with invading another country without further hollowing our ability to defend ourselves and respond to threats from other countries, such as a nuclear North Korea.
Strangely I don't recall any other international invasion other than the ones he promoted in the last years.
But why is the reason behind this text? Have anyone supporting his death lately?

Haiti? Who invaded Haiti? From what I understand he's talking about arbitrary invasion, not PK occupation (at least I wouldn't use that word in that way)

A brief explanation

Clinton has insisted that President Jean-Bertrand Aristide be reseated and that the United States "restore democracy" in Haiti, positions that play well in the abstract. But when the messy contingencies of the real world intervene--as they did last October, when U.S. military trainers attempting to land in Haiti met with resistance--the Clinton administration does the politically expedient thing and reverses course.
