Heh. There was an article about this in a magazine I read last month. My son needed one when he was in High school.

That's where mine is too. I have to get up to press snooze, and then I have to think for a sec whether I want to take the 7 minutes extra or whether I've already taken 70 and need to drag my ass to work. If it's by my bed, I have a tendency to shut it off completely in my sleep and then wake up 10-15 minutes after I'm supposed to be at (work, school, marching band practice, Magic Mountain trip, take your pick). At least I think that's what I think I do.

Wouldnt work in our household due to the dog. He would assume it's some type of rodent and kill it.

Good idea tho, they'll sell heaps.

Don't need an alarm clock. I have a 3 YO.

I used to do that too until they started the funny game of "happening" to sleep in on the days I really needed up. Now I have an alarm clock as backup.
