Nope, don't believe in them. And I'd like to LIVE in a remote house....supposedly haunted is meaningless to me. :D

I've had unexplained experiences, but don't honestly think they had anything to do with ghosts. Coincidences, race memory, or maybe just tapping into the 3/4 of my brain I don't normally use. :retard3:
I am a very supersticious person....yes! I do believe in ghosts... I like reading books about people calling from the dead....I do believe that their souls are trapped.

QUESTION # 3
if you were to die this evening with no opportunity to communicate with anyone, what would you most regret not having told someone? why haven't you told them yet?

wow...you know, i think i would feel the most bummed about the daily crap...phone bills due - don't forget to pay it...girl's dr's appts on tuesday- don't plan any stupid death services or whatever for then...oh, i'm an organ donor, remember? stuff like that....unless i had something eating at me that i could help resolve by speaking up...other than that i would take my secrets to the grave...i mean, i should confess my feelings to people or something? why? what would that do? serve to make the other party uncomfortable...can you imagine? i love you - croaks....i hate you - croaks....what good could that possibly do? why haven't i told these people these things? ummmm....well..i've told my girls i love them and my mom...i tell my husband i love him..i do..like a friend..and i tell him that too...other than that love is a strong word...sure i may have feeling for people but what kinda person goes around broadcasting that information? unwell people...or incredibly egotistical....nononono...while i am one to speak my mind and be upfront...i don't just spill those kinda beans...i haven't told people i dislike them because that's usually obvious and i don't feel the need to seek out those individuals to begin with.
Nope! If I havent said it by now I never will.

I've heard of the show...no cable though, so never really seen it. I like to renovate...I hate seeing what people do to their homes sometimes, or their furniture sometimes.

Found a dresser at a garage sale for $5.00 Took it home, stripped it of the 5 layers of white/pink/white/blue/white paint, stripped off the old varnish, stained it and revarnished. Here's a pic of after! It's my kid's changing table...don't mind the Animal handles :)

Nothing... I let people know on a regular basis how I feel about them. :p

I would regret leaving behind private correspondence, etc, for others to sift through. Think I'll purge some filing cabinets and puter folders this weekend. :eek5:

Norm Abrams, I believe. One time, my wood shop teacher took an entire class period to show us an episode of The New Yankee Workshop just to show us how clean and well-organized Norm's shop is.

thanks..that's it...he's awesome and, unlike bob villa, he still dresses like a regular old guy while he works. he is much more down to earth than bob villa.

QUESTION #4
If you could spend one year in perfect happiness but afterward would remember nothing of the experience, would you do so or not? why or why not? Which is more important: actual experiences or the memories that remain when the experiences are over?

hmmm...i'd do it....i could use a year of delicious happiness...besides, my memory isn't the greatest to begin with :tardbang:
it's kind of hard to say which is better...the experiences or the memories...i am inclined to say the experiences..but if you can't remember them than the experiences are not worth much...but it would be a good waste of a year. :D

No, I wouldn't. Memories are what sustain me most....and at this point in my life there's more past than future, so I treasure my memories all the more.

Definately. Aren't there medicines out there right now that have even higher odds for risk in some people? Just like with all medicine, a disclaimer is needed.

I'm very iffy on this one. A cure for cancer, definately. Arthritis...depends on the fatality rates, since arthritis is not in itself fatal. 1 in 100 patients dying seem pretty high to me for a non-fatal illness.

It does happen now, drugs are released to market with known serious/fatal effects. A disclaimer ain't gonna cut it though. You can't absolve yourself of legal responsability with a disclaimer in the drug industry. It is released, but it's use would be strictly regulated and all adverse effects and fatalities monitored.

I wonder how they make the decision about the level of "acceptable" side effects? Based on the illness treated as well as the seriousness of the effect? Is there a formula?

K, now I'm curious.

#2 - a) Nope
b) Yep

#3 - Nothing, I'd be dead.

#4 - What's the alternative :alienhuh: A year of misery which I do remember? I'll take the happiness I think.

#5 - Yes.

QUESTION #6
You discover your wonderful one year old child is, because of a mishap at the hospital, not yours....would you want to exchange the child to try and correct the mistake?

no....if you have children you understand the bond of love that a mother feels for her baby...that comes from nuturing and devotion to that child...in the end the genetics are unimportant...i would be far too much in love with the child to conceive of 'a swap'....i suppose i would always wonder about my biological child but i would know that where ever my biological child was, they had a mother that was loving them as much as i was loving the child i was rearing....if this was not so, i would jump to rescue that child but only in that case....i feel very strongly for adoption too....i would love to adopt a child....one day, maybe. :D

Thats when it seems like you've been here before...as opposed to vuja da...which is when you have no idea where the hell you are or how you got there...:retard:
