Ahhhh! This is all about this thing called "his-t-ory" that we have over here...

English Heritage are an organisation that maintain and open up to the public buildings/sites of historical interest... within such places there are museums and in some "historical characters" that explain about their roles at the time... its a touristy thing.

Most of the poeps are History or drama undergraduates working the summer to boost their student loan... its not a bad job actually if you like socialising, history and aren't afraid to do presentations infront of people.

If I lived down south I'd apply!

Well, heck, I'd do it, but . . . I have a problem with this:

"Bladder on stick provided if required.”

That sounds terribly painful.

I thought Clairebear said this job was for students at the uni level...not malcontents who hang around strange websites...besides...I was thinking of applying myself. I could use the extra scratch, and, the way we US folks are perceived in the UK, I'd be funnier just for applying...
