It's human nature to destroy ourselves. We would never be able to attain peace.

Chicken& the egg paradox.

It's an interesting philosophical question, but in science, the egg has to come first.

How would peace be possible without justice and/or freedom?

Easy. If there were a central authority, with control over every aspect of our lives, there could be complete peace with no freedom or justice at all. In fact, I'm reasonably sure that a certain amount of conflict and strife is one of the prices of freedom. I'll still put freedom first every time. Justice is a very close second for me, and peace, well, it would be nice if you could get it. Remember, we're talking about relations between human beings here.
