I mean... holy damn... talk about being served up to the gods of ecumenical politics on a platter. I haven't seen a dive that fast since Tyson floored that guy in 20 seconds flat early in his career.

Kim got set up...they knew that the party was going to take a fall, so why serve up a minister with "potential', when you can pick a pansy to take the fall.
I've met Kim Cambell, when she was on a book tour and she was nice enough to sit down and talk with me for about an hour. She was staying at a hotel where I was working. I had asked a receptionist to get her autograph for me. When I came in that night...no autograph BUT...Kim herself had inquired as to when I started my shift (11pm) and came down to see me personally.
She had no hard feelings about the fall and the set-up, toh' she did hint that she knew about it when she accepted the post.
Frankly, after an hour of conversation with her...I truly believe that she would've done well for Canada.
