the republicans have spoken

The strangest part of that whole debacle? Ohio has 27 electoral votes. If Kerry would've won Ohio, then he and President Bush would be deadlocked at 269. If that had happened, then the House of Representatives would do the voting...question...who has majority in the House? ;)

That would have sent a number of democrats over the edge. They'd be bringing shotguns into the house.

Not only did Daschle lose, but Edwards' seat, which he abandoned to run for VP, went to the Republican as well.

But at least he didn't do like Lieberman, and run for vice-president and his senate seat at the same time. I like Lieberman a lot more than most Democrats, but running in two races at once kinda irked me.

That's as good a reason as any to not give it up. It's not like Kerry or Edwards get to go back to their old jobs. They're on the unemployment line now.

 Ketchup-king Kerry, and Lawsuit Edwards? They don't need to work. :lol2:

Edwards is going back to private practive I'm sure but Kerry has 4 more years in his Senate seat.

He'd better bring a heat pad or something because that seat's nice and cold from no one sitting in it for so long.
