The snub continues

Van Halen's first few albums were brilliant up to and maybe including Diver Down.

Starting with 1984 they began to sully themselves and they just won't stop. They should be in the Rock Hall but I can unserstand the reluctance.

Van Halen, REM, Dave Clark, Patti Smith, and The Stooges I have no problem with. Grandmaster Flash...maybe...

But c'mon already. Would there BE a Van Halen without KISS? Gene Simmons discovered and shopped them to Warner Brothers Records for the love of banana pudding.

KISS belongs there, and until they are inducted the place is incomplete.

Much like Aerosmith. Since they quit drugs, they're playing cookie cutter rock. The last good album they had was Draw the Line (although, Pump & Get a Grip had a couple of interesting tracks).

The first few albums tend to be from the musicians themsleves. After they prove they are a commodity, the label takes over & destroys whatever vestige of humanity was there & turns them into cash cows.
