These people deserve reparations

Gonz...you posed a question about reperations at the top of the thread. I responded to that question and you jumped on it as racist because I didn't turn the original question into a race issue. If you planned on doing that, why didn't you put a race issue up there and deal with the responses? I'm supposed to understand your conversion of the issue and let you use the fact that I didn't play a race card as reason to declare the left racist? WTF?
A Suddanese on Suddanese crime is not a race issue. Reperations by the Suddanese is not something Americans would have any right demanding. So how the fuck do you make that leap if it wasn't simply an attack on me...as a racist for not making the issue racial?
Gato just did the very same thing in his thread about the pledge. He posed the question and pummeled me for my responses to the original question only to finally announce that he was actually asking something he never really asked.

I asked where was the left on demanding reparations. Nowhere to be seen, as usual, if it isn't attacking America or Israel. That story does not indicate Sudanese on Sudanese slavery. I didn't suppose that. I don't know who the slaves are. It doesn't matter. Slavery is slavery.

As I posted later, I had meant to start a thread on the treatment of prominent blacks in power by the left but this brought it out early. Had I meant to attack you I would have addressed you, by name. I said "The left", not "Squiggy". In fact, if you re-read that post, it explains itself.

I can't speak for Gato.

Enough.

Enough mudslinging, enough thinly veiled insults using "Left", "Right" as a cover. Enough assuming what people "should" or "do" think based on what they've thought on other issues.

Enough.

Who's mudslinging? I suppose your government & people with certain beliefs can't be shown to have a pattern in their thinking & behavior?

You might be surprised to find that despite my politics, I agree wholeheartedly with the presumption that the Sudanese have been suffering without due and proper assistance for years almost surely because of race, along with many other peoples in Africa and elsewhere, and am disappointed with the lack of action by my government and by other governments alike.

However, that doesn't change my sense that things in this forum are again getting a mite too personal and too hateful, and I am quietly suggesting at this time that perhaps a little backing off may be in order for some.

Students Cuffed at Elementary Schools

Apr 2, 7:46 am ET
SEATTLE (Reuters) - Security guards at elementary schools in Kent, Washington, have used metal handcuffs to restrain unruly students at least four times during the current school year, officials said on Thursday.

Which only goes to prove that the right wing are nazi pedophiles...

guess I can't post it now...:mope:

I agree with the race card but moreso that it comes down to other things. money, power amongst other things too.
