WASHINGTON – The Democratic-controlled Senate on Saturday cleared away a Republican filibuster of a huge end-of-year spending bill that rewards most federal agencies with generous budget boosts.

The $1.1 trillion measure combines much of the year's unfinished budget work — only a $626 billion Pentagon spending measure would remain — into a 1,000-plus-page spending bill that would give the Education Department, the State Department, the Department of Health and Human Services and others increases far exceeding inflation.

First - detstroy the economy.
Second - One World Currency.

It's the only thing that makes sense.

Seems like every weekend another spending bill is passed. They are intentionally spending this country into collapse.

The vote was 60 to 34 and was along party lines. Sen. Joe Lieberman walked to the Senate in order to make the deciding vote to shut down Senate discussion and pass the massive spending bill.

The three (3) dems against were Evan Bayh of Indiana, Russ Feingold of Wisconsin and Claire McCaskill of Missouri. The three (3) republicans who voted FOR this pork laden spending monstrosity were Sen. Thad Cochran of Mississippi, Susan Collins of Maine, Richard Shelby of Alabama.

Meet ya in Mis'ipp, at the crossroads.

Got a better reason to drive us into financial ruin?

They’ll drag us into chapter 11 next time.

The government: Ya gotta print money to spend it.

:disgust2:
you gotta work to make money, to spread it.

Try starting a small business or franchise without spending time and money long before you start making it...I guarun-tee that all the work in the world will mean squat without starting capital of some type.

Hence, you gotta spend money to make money. (ie. Invest before harvest)

They'll jigger the books and the ponzi scheme can continue

Just create that money out of thin air.

there's only one place to get money...that's from other people.
even the gov. printing it up new is taking it's toll on the part that's already out there.

There is no free lunch.

The less you have to start with just means the smaller you have to start,
and the harder you have to work, depending on how fast you want to grow.
